Rankine's Lembas Blonde on Blonde to Fyldefair ShCM. Very nice 2 year old yellow bitch. Nice type of head and expression. Good fore and hind quarters, good body and spring of rib. Moved very well, BOB.
Judge: Alastair MossChippenham & District Open Show - 4th April 2010
2 year old yellow bitch, feminine head, just lacking full pigmentation following hard winter. Good eye with intelligent expression. Strong neck, good shoulders and solid timbers. Well balanced body, clean out-line with good barrel ribs. Strongly coupled with excellent croup and tail. Well muscled thighs, with good turn of stifle. Excellent dense coat. She showed well in the breed, putting in the effort on the move which she just lacked in the group.
Judge: Graham Osborne (Beaters)Exonian Canine Association Open - 3rd April 2010
Lovely head and strong neck. Good legs and feet. Moved soundly. Good spring of rib, he needs to drop in his chest.
Judge: Mrs Lynne HunterCheltenham & District Canine Society - 28th February 2010
Oozing breed qualities in a beautifully balanced frame whilst giving nothing away in substance, liked her clean outline and length to leg, fore and hindquarters in harmony to produce easy flowing action, in firm condition and shown to advantage, BOB Group and delighted to see her go Best in Show later.

From a most interesting line-up for BIS I felt that two dogs stood away and for the top spot I chose the yellow Labrador bitch Rankine's Lembas Blonde on Blonde to Fyldefair, beautifully balanced without an ounce of fat, I felt she could so easily do a days work and still be full of energy.
Judge: Stuart MallardPortsmouth & Southsea Kennel Association - 7th February 2010
This was a well muscled yellow bitch with lovely soft head and expression, would just like better pigment to enhance the expression, she has a good neck into level topline, good depth of rib with nice front and rear angulation giving a lovely outline, stood four square and carrying just the right amount of weight, nice balanced picture. BOB.

Rankine's Lembas Blonde on Blonde to Fyldefair.
19 months yellow bitch, obviously needs to mature but she is a very promising youngster. Lovely character never stopped wagging her tail and showing her socks off. Lovely head and expression, clean neck. Well muscled throughout. On the move she was stunning, so animated it is lovely to see this breed moving freely and covering the ground with ease. Very Fit For Function. I will be watching out for her in the future. BOB and Group 1. Was delighted when she went on to win Best In Show.

Gundog Group: Rankine's Lembas Blonde on Blonde to Fyldefair, Lab, watched this beautifully balanced yellow bitch in her class and thought she was lovely then, delighted when she came under me in the group. 1. Rankine's Lembas Blonde on Blonde to Fyldefair.
Another excellent yellow bitch, head just needs to finish as one would expect at this age but the pigmentation and eye colour were good. Presented a lovely outline flowing from the back of her head along a strong topline to a well set on otter tail. Good depth and angulation throughout with plenty of muscle. Strode out around the ring with drive and forward reach. RBOB
